Manna Kadar Cosmetics is a brand that our editor Stef discovered on her recent trip to Cosmoprof NA (the largest beauty convention in North America.) Though new to me, the brand has been around since 2012, and her products have been included in Birchbox and Ipsy–so this prestige brand is definitely on the rise! And, since I’m a huge animal lover, I really appreciate that Manna Kadar Beauty products are not tested on animals, and the ingredients are obtained from cruelty-free sources.

So I was excited to test out Manna Kadar Cosmetics Paris Dream Palette ($59; BUT see deal below!) which is definitely dreamy. Inspired by Paris (the creator’s birthplace), the colors in this sophisticated and chic palette made me say oui oui! Right away, the packaging had me swooning. The metallic mauve cardboard palette has a magnetic closure, housing a thoughtfully curated selection of five eyeshadows, a bronzer, a highlighter and a blush trio, along with a mirror.

The shades work nicely together and can be used to create a dramatic or subtle looks. The eyeshadows are in a heart shape and are a gorgeous assortment of neutrals–cream, taupe, shimmery mauve, shimmery light grey, and dark brown. They have medium pigmentation and a smooth consistency. The color is buildable and fairly easy to blend–personally, I prefer a bit more pigmentation, but I really love how well these colors look together!

The bronzer is a warm copper shade with a quite a bit of shimmer and pigment. The pink lady silhouette is an overspray. The highlighter is a matte flesh tone shade that actually works well as an all-over facial powder on me (the brown silhouette of the Eiffel Tower is also an overspray). The blush trio is very shimmery and especially pretty blended together–the pink, light pink and deep coral shades are very pigmented as well. The blush is lightly embossed with “Paris” postmark and some writing in French. How cute is that?!

Overall, I had a lot of fun playing with this gorgeous palette, and it’s a great all-in-one palette for on-the-go gals who enjoy wearing neutral shades.

  1. I really thought this was an adorable palette. So much so, I hope some are available at the counter at Macy’s! They look like my kind of shades and colors! Great looking on you @lipglossandspandex!
