More Murad to love…

I don’t think I’ve ever tried a Murad product I didn’t like. I’ve bounced around to so many different skin care lines over the years. But ever since using my very first Murad cleanser, I’ve been a faithful follower. I recommend them consistently as a reliable brand to family and friends for a variety of skin care concerns. Not only have I been impressed with the quality of ingredients but also with their simple, straightforward regimens that are easy to use.

I especially like that they have lines that help with multiple concerns in one product. For example their Acne/Anti-Aging line, which I haven’t seen in combination from many other brands.

I’ve found another shining star in their line up; the Murad Advanced Active Radiance Serum. And while the price had me momentarily halt in my boots ($90), I got over it when I saw just how quickly I got results.

Coming out of a bit of a bad breakout (almost as bad as a bad breakup ~Stef), I had marks and pigmentation that seemed to last even longer now that I’m older. Packed with a Vitamin C blend that will brighten skin and neutralize free radicals, this serum also contains Hexapeptide-2 and Indian Fig which help encourage skin renewal.

All I can say is two weeks into daily use, I can honestly say my skin is noticeably brighter! It looks smoother and I feel like my damage from the breakout faded much quicker. I am so impressed with this formula. I can’t wait to see the results after 8 weeks of use.

My only qualm with it is while I normally have no issues with Murad’s packaging, this one took quite a few pumps to come out initially, to the point where I thought mine was broken. And occasionally it seems to have an air bubble and doesn’t flow as well. Regardless, it’s definitely a product to try if your face looks dull and you need a little pick me up.

The Murad Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture ($72) is one of their latest moisturizers. I hesitated at first, because I tend to have more combination skin and worry about richer products that might make me oily. But this moisturizer has a fantastic formula; totally silky and non-greasy.

Made with Hyaluronic Acid (which helps skin to retain water for lasting hydration) and coconut extract (that also helps prevent dehydration and gives skin smooth texture), it’s supposed to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles over time, so I’m keeping an eye on the large line in my forehead. It’s only been a couple weeks, so it’s hard to tell at this point, but I do think that line already isn’t as noticeable! This is a great option as a daily moisturizer and will really be a welcome addition during the drier months.

Yet again, Murad reminds me why I’m a loyal customer. And now, I have more favorites to add to the arsenal!

  1. I loved both of these products! I already splurged during a sale, and got another Radiance Serum (no issues with the pump this time) and I’m already through the 2nd bottle! It just seems to help greatly with evening out my face and fading marks. I also have already used all of the moisturizer, and want to order that again, I liked it so much. It has one of the best consistencies I’ve used. Murad seriously beats everyone hands down for me when it comes to skincare products… Everything I’ve used is awesome.

  2. For me the better question is . . . which Murad product am I going to buy next?
I have not met a Murad product that I did not LOVE.

  3. Murad rocks! I have never had a product from them I have not loved! I am sold on Murad’s Advanced Active Radiance Serum! Goooooood stuff!
