Question of the Week: What’s your favorite eye makeup remover that gets EVERYTHING off without stinging or clouding your vision?
Answer: My absofavo makeup remover is Make Up For Ever Sens’Eyes, a creamy base that removes everything quickly. But $24 pains me, I’d much rather buy a lipstick with that money!
So the one I buy more often is my tried and true, been using it FOREVER drugstore favorite Maybelline Expert Eyes, which you can pick up for about 4 bucks. It’s a clear liquid that’s not quite as mighty as Sens’Eyes (you’ll have to work a bit harder for waterproof eye makeup), but it’s a great product. I don’t think I’m alone in that thought either, because this is almost always sold out. Look for the oil-free formula with the blue lid.

we heartsters – what’s your favorite eye makeup remover?
I don’t use eye makeup remover. I tried it once when I got some as a free gift during that brand’s bonus time and it was horrible (I wear contact lenses and my eyes are easily irritated). Now I just stick to Burt’s Bees Exfoliating wipes (Peach & Willow Bark). They remove every speck of makeup/mascara and I love them.
Ohhh- I adore Burt’s Bees. I’m definitely going to try these out!!
I adore DHC oil cleanser (thanks to WHT) and I love my Epielle Green Tea Cleansing Cloths ($1.00 at Big Lots). Also Maybelline Oil Free Makeup Remover. I guess I’m all over the place.
I normally reach for Lancôme’s Bi-Facil. I love this stuff, and I often find a nice size jar of it in their gift with purchases. It lifts off all types of eye makeup, even waterproof mascara, while conditioning the skin. I also like to use this to remove any makeup messes during application with a Q-tip!
I do enjoy pisco, as acquired a taste as it may be. These sound incredible…so incredible I may be inclined to drink them too quickly. I will try this, but I will need supervision.
