I’m a stocking stuffer type of person. I spend almost as much time and thought picking out the perfect little side present to top a gift or stuff into the Christmas stockings. As an official lip balm addict, I’ve been known to give (and receive) many a lip product as that little extra something.
This year, I’m thrilled to announce that MOR Cosmetics has released the best stocking stuffer ever – the Lip Macaron.
Just like the classic French treats, these lip balms are sweet, petite and elegant…and you won’t be satisfied with just one! Luckily, at just $10 per cute little tin, you can collect every flavor of Lip Macaron without breaking the bank.
Ever so softly scented, these balms are available in nine MOR flavors, Lychee Flower, Cassis Noir, Blood Orange, Sorbet, Rosebud, Peach Nectar, French Vanilla, Apples, Passionflower Fruit and Marshmallow.
Each yummy balm comes housed in a circular, brightly colored tin that always pleases the eye – that’s the bright green tin of Apples above. And the tin is totally reusable when the balm is gone.
Inside the soft, sheer and satiny balm is sure to please lips in need of pampering. I tested Sorbet; overwhelmed by the intriguing scents, I was lured to this tin by it’s lovely Tiffany-esque blue hue and gold etchings.
Once I opened my little tin, I was enthralled with the scent – a light sugary, citrus blend that is pure happiness on the lips. The balm is super smooth and long lasting with a nice bit of shine.
Basically, I’ve been obsessed with this tin of balm since the day I first opened it. I wear it all day, everyday; alone while typing at my computer and swiping it over any color on my lips when on the go.
Pros:
• Adorable, reusable packaging.
• Lightly and uniquely scented.
• Soothing balm with staying power.
• Did I mention they make great stocking stuffers?
Cons:
• Germaphobes may not like the “hands on” application (but they should check out the tubed Lip Nectars!)

Oh wow, these are incredibly adorable and look very luxurious for only $10 a pop. I want the whole collection!!!
I got to try out the peach nectar balm. It has a very light peach scent that smells delicious and doesn’t overpower. The balm is very moisturizing, but feels very light at the same time. Love using it and keep it on my desk at home for frequent use. The tins are adorable and I agree that these would make the perfect stocking stuffers. At $10 these make a wonderful gift. 5 glowing stars!
I would (and probably will) be all over the Cassis Noir and the Marshmallow. But Sorbet sounds yummy too!
One question though: Do they have a distinct taste at all?
I didn’t notice a taste when wearing these, only that sugary scent. I did, however, just taste some in the interest of science. I discovered there is not a lick of taste…so don’t do that ;)
These are sooo super adorable! I would love to get my mitts on each and every one of these – they are perfect stocking stuffer!
These are adorable…MOR has such fantastic reusable packaging, especially for a company with such affordable products. I love my marshmallow balm–it has a super satiny feel upon application and the scent is sugary but not in a fake or overwhelming way. I also love how these look so much like their cookie namesake. Sweet!
But I said I had marshmallow…actually, it is French Vanilla. The white tin kind of looks like a marshmallow hence my confusion. I imagine it must smell similarly, too I guess now I’ll have to try that one, too.
I received the Rosebud scent to try out. I pretty much hate florals, so putting something floral on my mouth wasn’t the greatest, but I think this would be a must-have in any of the foodie/fruitie scents. (The perfume smell was stronger than another rosebud salve that I’ve used. This kind of smelled like I was wearing old timey cold cream on my mouth–ew.) I won’t deduct a point for the scent because I imagine if someone loved florals, they’d like this classic.
This is a thin, moisturizing balm. It pretty much stays on your lips until you eat or drink something, so it’s a great barrier against the cold, face-chapping weather of the East Coast.
I think this would be perfect for keeping on a nightstand to moisturize your lips before bedtime or slicking on before applying lipstick or gloss.
The darling packaging would also be adorable tucked into a stocking for Christmas.
5 stars for cuteness/moisturizing–
I was lucky enough to test out the Lip Macaron in Apple. The packaging is adorable (ooooh so vintagey!) and sturdy–the tin’s lid also screws on, which is a nice feature. It also smells great (sweet, faintly of apples, but not overwhelming) and is decently moisturizing. As Tyna said, the texture is really nice and smooth, and leaves your lips with a nice “my lips but better” sheen. I don’t typically care for lip products that must be applied with fingers, but this one is quite nice. $10 is a bit of a splurge for a lip balm, but items like this make a good gift! Overall, I give this four out of five stars.
Okay, I need Marshmallow and French Vanilla, and I’m with you on the blue and gold Sorbet tin, @tyna . I need that one just for the gorgeous color! Thanks for the code!
I love MOR products so much! They always evoke such a luxurious vintage glam feel! These lip balms appear to be just as delicious as the rest of their line. They are the perfect stocking stuffer. I hope that someone puts one or ten in my stocking! :)
Aaaaaahhh, adorable tin, be mine! The hardest part- which flavor should I buy?! Guess I’ll just have to buy them all…
These are gorgeous – they look like mini Lauduree packages!
I got the Lychee Flower lip balm. The beautiful packaging had me at hello but opening the tin to that amazing scent? I was instantly hooked. After applying it once, it went straight to my purse and I use it all the time. It made my lips nice and soft and stays on wonderfully. Love it! 5 stars!
