Bonus: A peek at the Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer
Like many other we heartsters, I love Urban Decay. Their high-performance and cruelty-free products make them a brand that we adore. While originally known for their bold and funky hues, in recent years Urban Decay started a beauty frenzy for neutrals and nudes thanks to its original “Naked” eyeshadow palette.
This formerly limited edition palette is now part of Urban Decay’s entire line of permanent Naked products, which now includes two additional eyeshadow palettes, liquid foundation, beauty balm, finishing powder, lipgloss, bronzer, highlighter and blush. The newest additions to this celebration of all things “Naked:” the Urban Decay Naked Skin Ultra Definition Powder Foundation ($36) and Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer ($28).
Urban Decay’s Naked Skin Ultra Definition Powder Foundation and Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer have a lot of fantastic features. They’re both beautifully smooth in texture, versatile, buildable, long-lasting and lightweight.
I tried several methods of using the UD powder foundation and concealer. Urban Decay recommends preparing your skin with B6 Prep Spray and Pore Perfecting Primer, then applying the powder with a damp sponge to get more coverage, then applying the concealer and blending with a brush, using the optical blurring brush to apply a bit more powder on top, and lastly using UD All Nighter makeup setting spray.
When I tried this method (using similar sprays and primers), I found that I really had to make sure my skin was well moisturized. Because my skin is blotchy, I needed extra coverage (extra powder), using a generous amount of moisturizer on my face kept the powder from looking streaky or dry.
This powder foundation can also be applied dry with the included sponge. I found using the foundation with a fluffy powder brush on top of well moisturized skin produced a very subtle effect. It also worked nicely on top of liquid foundation (for those needing heavier coverage), and it looks natural but polished.
Additionally, the packaging on both of these is beautiful. I love Urban Decay’s attention to detail when it comes to product packaging. The powder foundation comes inside a cute purple drawstring pouch that helps it stand out in a crowded bag.
Both products are sleek, compact, functional, and elegant looking. Although, you’ll want to use that pouch as the foundation compact is very prone to fingerprints.
The Naked Skin Ultra Definition Powder Foundation is available in 14 shades, and we got a look at 5 compacts:
left: Light Neutral, right: Light Warm
left: Light Neutral, right: Light Warm
clockwise from bottom right: Medium Light Cool, Medium Neutral, Medium Dark Golden
from left: Medium Dark Golden, Medium Neutral, Medium Light Cool
If you only need lighter coverage, the powder foundation is ideal. While it can be layered, it works best and looks best when used with a lighter hand.
The Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer is great for under eye circles or random blotchy spots, and is definitely a good product for a variety of skin concerns.
Medium Light (Neutral) shown thick and blended
Applied with a standard doe applicator, this concealer is creamy, blendable and layerable as well. I personally have found myself reaching for it fairly often!

The powder foundation looks like you are wearing no makeup at all. Perfect for me!
UD is up there with my favorites! I found out it’s locally based from right here in NPB! I recently had my makeup done by one of their talented makeup artists and not only did my brows come out better then ever before, she used the B6 Prep Spray, and it really made a difference. I’m not kidding. My makeup was set and lasted hours..lots of hours.. gonna get me some of that! Great review.
I love the lightweight look to this makeup. No makeup makeup is my fav right now, and I’m also digging compact foundations.
I will be trying this concealer–I love trying out different concealers in search of my holy grail. These look lightweight but fairly pigmented. Here’s to hoping! *fingers crossed*
I was pretty impressed with the concealer–hopefully you love it as much as I do :)
