That and more in The Lipstick League, week of 5.9.17

Question of the Week: What was the last bottle of nail polish that you purchased?

Answer: On a recent visit to Blue Mercury I picked up Smith & Cult Vegas Post Apocalyptic Nail Lacquer ($18). It’s described as a ultra-fine holographic lavender glitter in a clear base. And it has a TONS of glitter, like a disco ball exploded. Obsessed!

Here’s what was up with the League last week…

My Beauty Bunny – Whether you are interesting in adding a temporary pop of fantasy color to your hair or prevent fading to your unicorn locks, oVertone conditioners are the perfect solution!

Phyrra – I talk about my latest visit to the Dermatologist for my Rosacea, Eczema & Dermatitis, as well as my updated skincare routine and share what I’ve learned with you!

Prime Beauty – found a great alternative for the Too Faced Peach Palette. Read her Splurge vs. Steal: Makeup Revolution Chocolate Vice Palette vs. Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette post and see if you agree.

we heart this – Have you ever wondered “What IS joe-joe-ba?” (And, it’s ho-ho-ba, BTW.) We delve into Jojoba via a Tuberose & Clementine Body Soufflé. Yep, it’s as good as it sounds.

Beautygeeks – More interesting than Angelina Jolie as the face of the fragrance is the story of Guerlain’s Mon Guerlain vs Coca-Cola!

Beauty Junkies Unite – I honestly forgot just how awesome Origins skincare products are. Check out four classics that I am LOVING! (And they totally helped my skin recover from a recent rare freak out.)

Blushing Noir – Shopping drugstore beauty can be so hard when you can’t color match or test anything out – luckily Brooke has EVERY SINGLE Maybelline Concealer swatched (from all currently available 8 lines!).

Clumps of Mascara – I’ve spent so many months denying it. But the truth is this…I am obsessed with micellar water.

fanserviced-b – Six years after my wedding, I’m looking back at the makeup, matching, and mirror tips I think all brides and grooms should know.

Gouldylox – Want the iciest of icy hair? This shampoo will deliver, but is it too strong for you?

(Wondering what the Lipstick League is? Find out here.)

My Beauty Bunny is Currently Craving: The new BECCA x Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette is at the top of my summer beauty shopping list!

we heartsters – what’s the last nail polish you bought? Share in the comments!

Stef is many things. Amongst them: editor-in-chief of we heart this, photographer, condiment connoisseur, Philly girl in the California desert, borderline hoarder and a hardcore beauty junkie. She’s also got a touch of wanderlust…

  1. OMG I loooove that polish!

My latest nail obsession is…. press-on nails. For real. They’re soooo much better than they used to be in terms of staying power and there are SO MANY CUTE DESIGNS!!!! I glue mine on, and they last about a week. It’s not as hard on my nails as acrylics, and I like being able to change them up weekly without breaking the bank! KISS and imPRESS will set you back about $6-8 per set. I file mine down so they’re not too long.
