ARCONA Instant Lift Kit – review

It’s with great pleasure that we bring you ARCONAicon, a line Tyna and I have been fans of for quite some time. One of those hidden treasure companies that not only have beliefs that we stand behind, but amazing products. ARCONA believes: lasting beauty comes from within and we understand that whatever you put on your skin, goes into your body. Therefore, we use only the finest quality, all natural ingredients in products that penetrate deep into the cellular layers of the skin to effect real change, resulting in glowing, healthy skin at any age.

We got to try the Instant Lift Kit – a product that Mary, ARCONA’s rep, told me instantly lifts, tightens and firms the skin so that it feels better and appears brighter, smoother and revitalized AND could be used under the eyes. This made me squeal with joy. I’ve got a real love of products that can be used on the eye area. Because other than specific eye creams, what’s the one thing you see most on package labels? Avoid eye area. Boo hiss-my eyes need help too!

This 3 piece kit has the real feel of an at-home spa treatment. With a powder Lift Mask and liquid Tightening Serum that you mix together in a cup and apply with a fan brush (all items come with the kit). It’s half spa, half beauty science project! Lastly, a Peptide Firming Complex to help to further repair, minimize fine lines and attract hydration to the skin.

Be forewarned, this mask is a rather unappealing brown color. It also doesn’t smell like flowers or candy or any other artificial scent that is often added to skin care. But this just reinforces ARCONA’s philosophy Color, fragrance and consistency don’t change your skin, but live, active ingredients do. I knew that what I was seeing was pure product.

Another tip, do yourself a favor and go relax for the 15-20 minutes, like they tell you on the package. Don’t watch your skin in the mirror turn into what looked like that of a well-cooked chicken, golden brown, crackled and firm from all the tightening properties. I actually felt a bit hungry!

But here’s the most important part-the results. This mask gives new meaning to the words “glowing complexion.” I honestly don’t know if I’ve ever used a product that has given more immediate results. My skin was dewy, looked and felt firmer and absolutely shined like it does after a facial. Amazing! This is the kit for special occasions.

Good for me right? Well, good for you too! We have a Instant Lift Kit to give to one very lucky we heart this member! You too will get to see the transformation to gorgeous skin right before your very eyes. And here’s how we’re going to do it. ARCONA products do not contain petrochemicals, chemical stabilizers, parabens, sodium lauryl sulphates, perfumes, dyes, or any other caustic, toxic ingredients. In addition, their packaging is fully recyclable, they use natural fibers and vegetable ink in their printing and they never test on animals. They care about the world as much as they care about your skin. How about you? What do you do to make the world a better place?

Here’s how you very easily enter:

  • Become a member of we heart this.
  • Fill out the “tell me more” section of your profile (see faq #10 if you don’t know where to find this.)

  1. I meant every word I typed, this is one of the best masks I’ve ever tried! I loved the fan brush to apply it, the results were noticeable and instant, and it felt great knowing it was natural ingredients that were giving me my glow. LOVE THIS STUFF!!!

And just to kick off the giveaway, I’m a do-gooder because I stopped using plastic bags at the supermarket.

  2. Oh Arcona! Every item I’ve tried from this high quality, eco conscious line has been fabulous! (Try the Raspberry Acne Bar and the Triad Pads) At first, I was worried the whole kit maybe too time consuming or difficult – but it’s super easy and kind of fun! Just mix your serum and the powder together in the little bowl and mix with your cute little brush, then coat onto your skin. Like Stef noted, there’s no extra colors or scents, but I got over the that quickly. I don’t like my face products scented, so that was easy, and I found the color great for seeing where and how much of mix I had applied. I relaxed (in front of the computer) for 15 minutes and than rinsed to find soft and dewy looking skin! Normally, masks leave me feeling tight and dry and reaching for a heavy moisturizer – not this one. My skin felt soft to the touch, wasn’t tight in the least and did look a tad bit firmer. Especially around my eyes – and yes, hooray for a treatment you can use on those fine lines. I wear contacts so I was extra careful around that area and I had no problems at all. All in all, I was nicely impressed with the results. I’m excited to see what regular use, maybe weekly, can do for my skin. And I love, love, love Stef’s suggestion of adding this to your routine for a big night out.

Ladies, this is a good one! Get entering and Good luck!

  3. Woo Hoo! Sounds like a fabulous skincare line.
The Lift Mask and liquid Tightening Serum are going to be a must try for sure! Thanks for the giveaway!

  5. The product sounds amazing! I love that these are free of unnecessary ingredients like color and fragrance. I feel that everything I have put on my face will soon come back to taunt me.
I’m trying to cut back on my plastic bag usage especially when buying something. In stores they’d put your purchase in a huge plastic bag even if it can fit inside your purse! Maybe it’s time I should buy a reusable bag.

  6. I love giveaways! What I do as a do-gooder:
It’s the simple things of showing up with a smile that can mean the difference in somebody’s day. Smiling at the post office worker instead of grumping about the weather. Showing up to work on time and ready to go. Going to meetings with a smile instead of groaning “another meeting?”. Showing up to cheer on friends and families in plays, races, marathons, and other events regardless of distance or weather!

  7. I agree with Tyna, every time I use a mask I look for one that says it will hydrate my face but, they always leave me feeling like I need to apply heavy amounts of lotion afterwards. I would really like to give this one a whirl to see if it leaves my face feeling soft and moist!
I’m a do-gooder because I turn off the lights when I leave a room and turn the water off while I brush my teeth. :D

  8. I love Arcona White Ice, it’s my favorite splurge moisturizer. The scent is divine and I love how it’s never greasy or heavy; it makes my skin feel smooth and tight.

I’m a do-gooder because I’ve worked as a police dispatcher for 22 years now. I don’t think I planned to do this as long as I have but as time has gone on, I’ve realized this is my calling. There have been plenty of tears shed doing my job but the times I’ve helped someone or actually outright “saved” them far outweigh the tears. I’ve had bad nights where I wonder if I make a difference in this world but I like to think that by doing what I do and doing it well, I’ve managed to do some real good.

  9. I’m not sure if this qualifies me as a do-gooder because I get so much out of it! Anyway, I work at a center for the developmentally challenged and I have a special friend named Sarah. Sarah and I go to the movies, shopping, out to eat, etc. and she often comes home with me on weekends! I volunteer(I don’t get paid) to bring her home and spend time with her because it is rewarding for us both!!!

I’ve never tried Arcona but it sounds just like what I need for my stressed skin! I’ve lost my glow!

  10. Zoe – that absolutely qualifies you as a do-gooder!

Another plus I wanted to add about the Arcona Instant Lift Kit is that I woke up this morning (two days after testing) and I have not had one new pimple since I used this mask. Usually, I get one or two (or five) even if I’m using some type of acne mask. Oh and the one nasty bump I did have when I used the mask, has now almost completely faded!

  11. Zoe, I agree with T. Doing Good doesn’t get much more lovely than than.

And T, great about the acne. This isn’t an acne mask but obviously must have such good stuff in it that it’s working on that too. Woo hoo ARCONA!

Michelle, my- the stories you must be able to tell as a police dispatcher! I’m sure you are absolutely making a difference in people’s lives. Good for you!

  12. i volunteer for many organizations such as the hospital and i help teach children about simple money management skills

  13. I try to help people in little ways whenever I can, and I always try to be open and friendly as I go about my day. I know how a small kindness can really make one’s day during trying times.
I also make charitable donations whenever I can.

    P.S. Arcona Skincare sounds amazing!

  14. I volunteer. I have worked with non-profits forever and I know the value of the volunteers to an organization. So I try to volunteer for organizations that I don’t work for because a volunteer can really make a difference.

  15. Whom wouldnt want to try this? Being an Esthetician,I am always looking for new skincare products to try out!
As for my doing goodness,,I approach everyday with a huge smile and a positive attitude,,,which in return,,makes even the grumpiest person smile,,,and if youre looking for something a bit more eco friendly,,,,i re-use my empty plastic laundry detergent jugs to store magazines,,,and as bird seed and salt scoops!

  16. I’m so looking forward to trying this when I come to LA hint hint Tyna and Stef. I love all the do-gooding things you ladies are doing. I’m a do-gooder because I use re-useable shopping bags, donate to the local animal rescue, I get my pets spayed/neutered (thank Bob Barker), I recycle, I have all my bills sent electronically, I buy organic products most times and never anything tested on animals, I get my oil changed in my car on time. That may sound silly but it really does make a diff on gas.

  17. That sounds like a great product.

What I have done to make the world a better place? Raised my children to be caring, giving human beings.

  18. What a fantastic giveaway!

At this point in my life what makes me a do-gooder is all the volunteering and time I put in at my children’s school. I am told I go over and beyond what is necessary, but if what I do makes school more fun for my children and the other children I don’t mind. :-)

  19. What a great site and a wonderful giveaway.. thank you for sharing. Blog sites are still new to me, but I’m catching on quick. Thank you!

  20. Okay, I volunteer, but I’m nowhere near the do-gooder as some of the ladies on here (Zoe is my new hero) and they all deserve to be rewarded for their making a better world. I just wanted to say that Arcona is THE balls. I highly recommend their Wine Hydrating Mask. My face can get very dry in the winter (yet still be oily!!!!), but it breaks out easily, so I can’t use heavy creams on it. I’ll clean my face really well(their White Tea Purifying Cleanser is really gentle and smells divine) and then slap the mask on it for 20 minutes and when I wipe it off, it’s like I have new skin. If you haven’t tried their products, you really need to give them a chance!

  21. I knit scarves when I am watching TV and carry them around in my car to hand out to homeless people in the winter. I sometimes carry PB&J’s to hand out . My husband & I also put on concerts in depressed areas (low income, heavy drugs, etc.) and often work with other groups so we can provide food, school supplies, clothing, bikes, household items and so on. We do it out of love, but really we are the ones receiving. Every time we do an event we come home blessed by the people we have met. And as an extra bonus I turned in my recycles today! LOL!

  22. I’ve always made sure to put my best foot and words forward. I feel that the world can be a better place by starting with youself and being a good person.

  23. Wow, as a newbie to the site, all of the lovely comments above certainly are hard acts to follow. I do not consider myself a “do-gooder”, however, I try to “do good” and leave behind something good and positive wherever I go. I feel that my primary responsibility in the “do good” area is to raise my three children to see beyond their own self interests…in other words, what will benefit them most. Rather, I hope that my children will one day find their lives fulfilling, not because of what they have accumulated or the accolades they have received, but by the lives they have touched in a meaningful and impactful way and whether they have left the world a better place than it was when they were in it. I believe that is the greatest thing I can offer this world, and as I pass through, I hope that I leave behind my own footprint that has been more of a positive impact on people’s lives and this world than negative.

Kudos to all you lovely ladies who make an impact, no matter how large or small, on those around you!

  24. Haven’t had a chance to try this brand out. I’m missing out.

For being good to the earth, I recycle (paper, plastic containers, etc.) and use less power anytime I can

  25. I try to be kind to everyone I meet.. the world needs a bit more of kindness. Thank you so much for offering this giveaway! eyeslikesugar [at] gmail [dot] com

  26. Whenever I am out, I make sure to smile and chat with the person working at whatever place I happen to be, and to tell them to ‘have a wonderful day’ before they tell me. They say it a thousand times a day, and I can see a little extra light in their eyes when I beat them to it, and say it with complete sincerety. It’s hard out there right now, and people are working longer and harder hours then usual. I do whatever I can to lighten that load a little, and make it go by more quickly.

  27. I also stopped using plastic bags, recycle and smile at people i dont know. They either walk away wondering if they know me from somewhere or i just made their day a little brighter. Smiles and laughter prevents wrinkles. Keep that in mind ladies.

  28. Where have I been? I have not used or seen this before? Living under a Rock most likely! But this sounds like a great product! I can’t wait to check this line out! Thanks for the lead! I am getting some wrinkles.. sniff sniff.. so i am always looking for something worth trying!
PS I have more re-useable Trader Joe bags that’s it getting out of control.

  29. I am always looking for new products ESPECIALLY for under the eyes!!!! maybe than my mother will stop telling me how tired i look! (maybe?)
