That and more in The Lipstick League, week of 5.16.16

Question of the Week: Do you use color correcting complexion products (like powders, primers or concealers)? If so, which ones do you use?

Answer: I’m experimenting with the Becca Backlight Targeted Color Corrector ($30) right now. In shades of Papaya, Peach, Pistachio and Violet, each shade corrects a different tone. I don’t know how I lived without Pistachio; it’s heaven sent for my blotchy red skin.

  1. I’ve been eyeing the Pistachio Becca–I have a cheapie NYX color correcting palette and the green in there does the job, but the Becca one is so pretty and the formula looks way more luxe.

  2. I’ve always been intrigued by those bizarro shades of color correctors—so far I haven’t been brave enough to try them, but I am a huge fan of regular concealer. Like, I collect them.

  3. My favorite hands down is IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness. It stays put and cover the redness. One very small jar lasts nearly a year!
