Scrappy Damsel is a alternative for BPAL Underpants

Question of the Week: Have any of your favorite fragrances been discontinued? If you had the ability to bring back any discontinued fragrances, what would they be?

Answer: Oh, I could give this answer in my sleep! I never managed to get a bottle of BPAL Underpants, but it is the imp (sample) that haunts my dreams. Here’s the description: “Sexy sugar-smeared saffron sandalwood over lickable vanilla cream with a splash of butter rum.” GAH. I can not even begin to describe how good this smelled. Too good for words.

Scrappy Damsel from the Yule 2013 collection, shown above, was similar. But, I would do unmentionable things for a bottle of the real thing.

  1. I haven’t had the misfortune of having a favorite fragrance discontinued because I end up finding another new favorite before I finish the bottle! The last time I came close was Harajuku Lovers perfume in LOVE. I bought a backup (which is still sitting in the box… because I’ve found other fragrances since then).

  2. It’s not officially discontinued, you can sometimes find it in dicount stores or online, but True Love by Elizabeth Arden was my FAVORITE for a very long time. It always seemed so grown up to me (at like 15 or 16) but that’s possibly because Elizabeth Arden was a little pricey for my teenage allowance!

  3. I miss Ooh-La-La from Victorias Secret. That was one of my favorites. I wish they’d all put big signs out saying ‘Soon to be Discontinued’ stock up now. It sure wound make things easier.
