Question of the Week: What tool do you most often use to apply your foundation? Brush, sponge, fingers or…?

Answer: Fingers 90% of the time, the other 10% is split between a brush and a Beautyblender.

  1. I rotate through all 3 methods, but it tends to depend on the formula of the foundation I’m using. I love brushes for powders, sponges for standard foundations, and my fingers for tinted moisturizers and the like.

  2. I always use a dense brush, like IT Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe™ Complexion Perfection Brush #7 or Heavenly Skin Full Coverage Foundation Brush #703.
