Question of the Week: Are you loyal to one eyeshadow primer or do you like to hop around and try new things? What’s your holy grail eyeshadow primer (or your favorite of the moment)?

Answer: I am loyal to Senna Totally Transforming Eyeshadow Primer ($24). Discovered at The Makeup Show a few years ago, this primer creates an opaque base that fills in fine lines and hides discoloration beautifully. If your lids need a bit more help that a sheer primer offers, check it out!

  1. I’ve been a fan of the classics–UDPP, TFSI–and elf’s eyeshadow primer is a great budget option. Lately I’ve been using MAC Paint Pots because I have a million of them. I don’t have one that I’m just obsessed with though.

    1. @lipglossandspandex — I still use UDPP as well. However, I am not no longer enralled with it. I am going to have to check out Senna!

  2. I definitely hop around from one eye primer to another, but usually come back to UD.

  3. I need to start using a eye shadow primer, because I slack daily on that step so I’m excited to hear Senna has a good one. I really like that brand and everything I’ve tried from them.
